About Me

I, Cousteau Christopher, have been creating films, tutorials, and visual effects for 10 years now. I've submitted various films to various competitions, and have been selected as a director for the SBIFF's

10-10-10 competition, as well as post on YouTube, Facebook, etc. I'm looking to grow overall as a filmmaker in my journey towards Hollywood.

My goal is to eventually become a director/filmmaker that works on blockbuster films one day, and use blood, gore, and explosions not to glorify violence, but rather powerfully tell stories in a unique and poignant way.

What I Use

In terms of cameras, I've worked with Arri Alexas, REDs, Canon C200s and C300s, Black Magic Ursa Minis, though my overall favorite camera has to be the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K due to it's versatility with size and weight as well as its 4K RAW capabilities and 13-stop dynamic range yielding an absolutely beautiful image.

As for programs, I use a large variety of 3D, video editing, and photo editing programs with extensive knowledge in programs such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects,  Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Realflow, as well as work with plugins such as FumeFX, PhoenixFD, Rayfire, and more.
